Frequently Asked Questions
Please find our FAQs below.
If you need any further assistance do get in touch.
Q: Is Talk Financial Solutions truly independent?
A: Yes, we are a completely independent provider of finacial advice and services. So our qualified advisors will only ever advise you on the solutions which are best suited to your situation, needs and financial welfare.
Q: Why should I get independent financial advice?
A: Financial advisers are not all the same and the amount of value they add to your financial situation varies considerably. Many financial advisers in the UK can only recommend products or services from one or a limited number of companies. Such 'tied' advisers actually work for the product providers, attempting to find a product from a restricted range of options to best fit your needs. Using one of these advisers means that you can never be certain that you are getting the very best product or service available to you.
We are completely committed to providing our clients with totally independent and unbiased financial advice for life. In practice, this means transparent commission, tax efficient fee based solutions, and above all, never allowing provider incentive to cloud our judgement during the advice process.
We are not tied to any bank, investment house or insurance company. We are independently owned with no insurance company sharing any stake in our organisation, by retaining this purity we can always act in our client’s best interests.
Q: Will my affairs will be dealt with in the strictest confidentiality?
A: Yes, not only do all of advisors work with the utmost discretion, their regulation and data protection rules mean that all conversations and details about you and your financial circumstances will be kept strictly confidential and only ever released to product providers with your permission.
Q: Do I have to visit a Talk Financial Solutions branch to see an advisor?
A. No, if you call, text or email one of our branches you will be able to make an appointment for an advisor to visit you at your home or your office at a time to suit you.
Q: What information will I need to have available when I meet with an advisor?
A. The more information you can provide to an advisor when you meet with them about your personal situation and finances will mean we will be able to provide more finely tuned advice and support more quickly. This information should include bank statements, details of credit agreements, exsiting wills, insurances etc and a view of your monthly expenditure.
Q: Will I be dealing with one person?
A. When appropriate. When you contact your local branch you will be allocated an advisor based upon your needs at the time. This advisor will be your primary contact. Like any industry though, there are specialist areas of expertise. So as your needs change over time you may need to talk to one of our specialist advisors. You will, however, always retain your primary contact.
